Mumble Something

Jason Becker

Bass, Guitar and Vocals

Jason's entrepreneurial spirit has resulted in the founding of several single-national non-glomerates, including ventures into studio recording and live sound reinforcement. In search of decreased wages, Jason turned to performing. He plays feckless bass and eclectic guitar. Associated acts include Streetwise, The Professors and Mary Ann, Metropolis, Brother Seamus, Bottle Shock, Nate Bucklin, and Teresa Chandler and Mumble Something. A native of Brooklyn, Jason currently splits time between Milwaukee and Minneapolis.

Janet (Jake) Lampert
Drums, Guitar, Vocals

"Jake" is a native New Yorker. She started drumming professionally at the age of 17. Jake relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area where she helped form the Berkeley Women's Music Collective, Bebe K'Roche (the first all women band to record with Olivia Records) and Tommie. She performed and recorded with numerous bands and solo artists, including Teresa Chandler. Now living in the Twin Cities, she is once again working with Teresa Chandler as a proud member of  Mumble Something.
